Knight wins 880 by a bucket

Texas Tech opened up a 20 point lead over New Mexico and the lead at half time is 43-30 for the Red Raiders.

New Mexico stormed back in the second half and led by four with 7:50 to play. The Lobos were on top 68-66 with 2:41 left, but with 2:10 to go Jarrius Jackson hit a 3-pointer to put Texas tech up for good, giving Bob Knight win number 880.

Philly's Magee is NCAA Division II's all-time winningest coach 

Philadelphia University coach Herb Magee won his 829th game to pass Clarence "Bighouse" Gaines, formerly of Winston-Salem State, as Division II's all-time winningest coach. But win number 829 was not a gimme, even though Wilmington College entered the history making night with an 0-20 record. The game was close the whole way and Wilmington tied it up at 53-all with a shot with 20 seconds remaining. In overtime Philadelphia took control of the game and won it 65-60.
